Eva la Feva is a nationally touring burlesque and belly dance performer, producer, and the visionary founder of Feva Pitch Productions and The Newport Theater / Risque Arts Collective NFP. As a creator, performer, and community advocate, she has become a cornerstone of Chicago's vibrant arts and nightlife scene.

Eva pulls from over fifteen years of dance/performance experience to create a unique brand of burlesque that combines clowning, storytelling, and belly dance fusion-inspired movement, and pulls from a rich background of costume creation/design to tell impactful stories and establish a unique connection with her audiences.

In 2016, Eva founded Feva Pitch Productions, an event production company specializing in burlesque and nightlife entertainment. Her signature productions included The Clipper Cabaret (a monthly burlesque and variety revue at the California Clipper), Siren Song Cabaret (a live band burlesque revue co-produced with Brooklyn B Productions), Found Quarterly Burlesque Revue (Evanston) and Red Light Special (co-produced with Gutter Glam Entertainment), which continued until halted by the pandemic. Her events were known for their high-energy performances, a fusion of diverse acts, and a commitment to creating inclusive, exciting experiences for all.

Eva also played a key role in fostering a safer and more supportive burlesque community. In 2016, she helped co-found Burlesque Community Against Unsafe Spaces (BCAUS), an initiative aimed at promoting safety, respect, and inclusion within the burlesque scene. The same year, Eva was honored with the Judith Stein Scholarship to the Edmonton Burlesque Festival, recognizing her dedication to the burlesque community.

Eva’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to create the Newport Theater in June 2019, a fringe arts theater in Chicago that serves as a platform for experimental and avant-garde performances. This space has become an important venue for nurturing new talent and celebrating boundary-pushing performances. Eva, alongside Tight Five Productions, worked to keep the venue open through the pandemic via to-go liquor sales, Covid-safe video filming services, and the Newport Theater Virtual Venue (designed by QueerCoded) to screen digital performances and help artists earn income through recorded work when live performance was not possible.

In addition to her work as a producer, Eva is a sought-after performer who regularly graces the stages of iconic venues such as Untitled, The Drifter, and House of Blues in Chicago. She is also a prominent member of the Fringe Factor Dance Collective (Lady Jack Entertainment), where her performances have included memorable moments such as opening for Elton John and Eric Clapton. She also originated the role of Clara in The Uncanny Attic (Beautifully Gruesome Productions), which was part of Steppenwolf’s 2025 Lookout Series.

As a belly dance artist, Eva’s credits include being cast in the internationally touring show Bellydance Evolution (Washington, DC and New York, 2010), placed second in the MAQAM Belly Dance Challenge (Pro Tribal Belly Dance Soloist category, Chicago 2009), and performed as a backup dancer for Bollywood star Shefali Zariwala in 2012 (Chicago). A dedicated student of the dance form, Eva was Level II certified in the Suhaila Salimpour format from 2009-2011.

Through her artistry, productions, and advocacy, Eva empowers others to embrace their sensuality and creativity, making a lasting impact on the arts and entertainment world.

Testimonials

"Tight, succinct, and wonderfully enjoyable with her expressive face and quirky personality shining through... was Chicago's Eva la Feva, who portrayed a dashboard hula girl forced to obey the cues of whatever tune the car stereo dial is turned to, with a bashful personality and beguiling facial reactions. A super-cute act from a stunning girl, we're looking forward to seeing more from her."

– J.D. Oxblood, Burlesque Beat on the 2015 New York Burlesque Festival

“One of my favorite acts of the night was Eva La Feva, whose act had me in stitches throughout. Eva’s act took you on a roller coaster of emotions and her facial expressions cracked me up!”– Havana Hurricane, 21st Century Burlesque on the 2014 New Orleans Burlesque Festival“My favorite act of the evening that I was actually able to concentrate on was Eva La Feva’s Dashboard Hula girl responding to the car radio. It was original, clever, sexy, funny, well-executed, and fun to watch from start to finish.”– Paco Fish, Pin Curl Magazine on the 2014 Show-Me Burlesque Festival
